Heavy rainfall and storms are predicted for Queensland, most likely to lash the state this morning and this afternoon.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said there's an 80 per cent chance of rainfall in Brisbane and surrounds, with winds also picking up this evening.
The state was issued a severe weather warning last night, with residents told to brace for potentially hazardous storms and large hailstones.
